The chalet where you will be staying is located in Plainfaing (Vosges) next to the Bonhomme pass within the greater Alsace region. It’s beautifully located in the heart of the Vosges Mountrain.

The chalet is recognized as both a bed and breakfast and table d'hôtes. It can accommodate up to 8 people.

There are two bathrooms with shower and toilets. A kitchen, a dining room, and a living room.

At about 700 meters of altitude, the chalet is surrounded by wild forest. It’s a quiet place where you can observe nature and relax.

I have been interested, for a few years now, in other life styles very different from those you usually see. I take inspiration from knowledge and techniques such as "earthship", permaculture, renewable energies.

I have no diplomas or training on how to preserve the environment but a great motivation and considerable experience. I'm learning by trying and sharing with people.

My goal is to create a sustainable eco system over the years and share this experience
Here are some pictures of the site

The cultural importance of the kitcken and local cuisine in Alsace is unique and very symbolic.

Several local specialties are to be discovered (flammekueche, baeckeoffe, späetzle, knacks…)the list is long and interesting! They are appetizing dishes, tasty and hearty.

I always strive to choose fresh and local products. It’s a real pleasure to cook them and especially to taste them!

Each diner consists of a starter (salad or hot starter), a main course with meat or fish, vegetables and starches. A tray of Cheese and dessert.

For lunch the sandwiches are made in the morning with fresh bread and local products.
Breakfast is served with hot drinks (tea or coffee), fresh bread, various homemade jams, a cake, seasonal fruits, dairy (yoghurt or milk), cereals and fruit juices.

If you’re a vegetarian or follow a special diet, I’ll make sure to adjust the meals as best as possible to meet your needs. Nevertheless, please make sure to let me know in advance so that I can plan accordingly.

Garage/Bike workshop  &  Rent a bike

Next to the chalet there is a garage. This place is reserved to store the bikes

There is also a mechanic's workshop with tools available to you in order to maintain or repair your bike

It is a safe, secure and well-kept place. Next to the chalet, there is also a washing station for bikes.

I highly recommend that you come with your own bike.

We always drive better with our own equipment, we know it well, we know how to maintain, and ultimately repair it.

However, if you do not have your own bike, a mountain bike rental is possible.

Be sure to let me know beforehand so that we can arrange the bike rental.
